This is a poorly made divot tool. Wish I would have gotten to ask around before I bought one. The idea is fantastic, but the quality is terrible. Sometimes it won’t extend out all the way, or fully go back in. Sometimes the divot prongs will come off the mechanism on the inside that holds it, making you have to finagle it around to get it back to where it needs to be. I’ve gone to push it into the green to repair a divot and it broke away from the internal mechanism and pushed back into the housing on its own. Very poor design and won’t last the summer.
Was also shipped some random ball marker that didn’t match the one I ordered. They didn’t ask if I want a refund or something different, just shipped me what they thought was a good compromise. Not the best customer service.
I suggest you go with an old school divot tool, or at least one that is built decent.
I have never seen an OTF divot tool before so I bought this one. It is a sturdy design and work as it is suppose to. Fun to have on the course
